Step-by-Step Umrah Guide
Prepare yourself spiritually and practically for every step of the sacred journey.
1. Intention (Niyyah)
Make the sincere intention to perform Umrah for the sake of Allah alone.
2. Wearing Ihram
Enter the state of Ihram from the Miqat and recite the Talbiyah.
3. Tawaf
Perform 7 circuits around the Holy Kaaba in a counter-clockwise direction.
4. Sa’i
Walk between the hills of Safa and Marwah 7 times as performed by Hajar (RA).
5. Hair Cutting
Men shave their head or cut hair short; women trim a small portion.
